During our trip we saw this hotel/restaurant and decided to have a lunch there. We asked for something to drink and a boy led us to a small sitting area (not the dining area). A lunch was not possible so we decided to only take a cappuccino. That was a mistake. Rarely had such a bad cappuccino - but hey... sometimes that happens. We left the place because we wanted to have a lunch somewhere (else). They charged us E 10,00 for two of these seldomly bad tasting cappuccinos. We don't have any experience about the hotel - but we felt ripped off in the restaurant to be honest. Staff was nice though.
Warm welcome and lovely view of the tumbling river. Aircon not on in the hotel, so warm but cooled down at night with the window open (good mozzie nets). Short menu but very good, and lovely service from two young waiters.
The hotel was in a very pleasant location. The welcome was ok. The reason I didn't rate higher is that when we wanted a pre dinner drink all the staff were having their meal before the evening started and we really felt guilty about asking someone for a drink. It was served to us at the bar albeit reluctantly.
We loved our stay at les 2 rives. We were welcomed with a smile by the friendly staf and where able to charge our Tesla. (2 plugs available). Good beds, quite sleep and dark room. Diner was available and was good quality, reasonably priced! We would recommend this as your stop over hotel! Thanks!
We would have given a higher rating if we had had friendlier service. The location is good and not too far from the road for a quick stay. The room was a good size and had a mezzanine level with a comfy large double bed. There was one chair …
Staff were super lovely and helpful. Especially when we had to change rooms when the concrete floor was to cold for our baby and then the heating didn’t work in the second room. They gave us a suite in the end which was great. It was a shame about the restaurant for dinner and the breakfast was very poor too. Old bread, cold pancakes.
